Why add methionine and lysine into pig feed

Now much of the world's farm takes corn - soybean meal in the diet,  lysine and methionine are the first and second limit amino acids for pigs, so it need to be add extraly.

Essential amino acids in pigs include lysine, methionine, tryptophan, phenylalanine, leucine, isoleucine, valine, threonine. Soybean meal is rich in lysine and tryptophan, methionine and corn containing more so with corn and soybean meal, amino acids complementary to achieve better nutritional balance.

Because of lack of essential amino acids, the protein synthesis reduce body, causing a series of body protein metabolism, enzymes synthesis problems, the most important manifestations of growth retardation, and even lead to metabolic diseases.

Lysine is mainly used for protein deposition, are rarely involved in the regulation of metabolic processes. The role of methionine complex, in addition to protein deposition, but also closely related to the in vivo metabolism of sulfur-containing compounds, in addition to also use its methyl brought on poisons or drugs played a role in methylation and detoxification.
